Project background:

To enhance production efficiency, improve energy management, and create a better working environment, SK Hynix aimed to upgrade its lighting systems in the Wuxi plant.


Challenges & Needs:

Prior to the lighting upgrade, SK Hynix faced several challenges:

Inconsistent Lighting Conditions: Certain areas of the production floor experienced inadequate lighting levels, which impacted the precision of assembly and testing processes, particularly in tasks requiring high attention to detail.

High Energy Costs: The existing lighting system, primarily composed of traditional fluorescent lights, was not energy-efficient, leading to high operational costs.

Frequent Maintenance Issues: The outdated lighting setup resulted in frequent bulb failures and maintenance needs, causing production interruptions and inefficiencies.

Solution:

To address these challenges, we collaborated closely with SK Hynix to design and implement an effective lighting solution tailored to their specific operational needs. The key components of the solution included:
